Registered Nurse- Behavioral Recovery Unit
The Behavioral Recovery Unit (BRU) is a 10-bed locked unit located within the CLC that treats Veterans with neurocognitive disorders who require a safe environment to prevent wandering & will benefit from treatment designed to impact distressing behaviors. The BRU RN is responsible for all elements of the nursing process; providing/supervising direct patient care & responsibility for coordination of care focused on patient transition, patient & family education, & self-management after discharge To qualify for this position, Applicants must meet all requirement by the time of hire. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
