Join our dynamic team at the Immunogenetics Center, where you will apply advanced statistical methods to support research projects, clinical trials, and contribute to grant and publication efforts. As a Statistician, your expertise will be key to generating data-driven insights and advancing scientific discovery. Primary duties include:
•Collaborate with researchers and faculty to design and construct databases for research projects and clinical trials.
•Perform data collection, organization, and management to ensure accuracy and reliability.
•Apply statistical methods and models to analyze complex datasets.
•Interpret data trends, patterns, and relationships to derive actionable insights.
•Develop predictive models to support research and clinical applications.
•Create reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
•Provide statistical expertise to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Salary Range: $32.95/hour - $67.53/hour
Qualifications
•Minimum of one year of professional experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Specification, or Data Science.
•Proven experience applying statistical methods to research projects, clinical trials, and/or grants and publications.
•Proficiency with statistical software applications, including STATA, R, or SAS.
•Demonstrated skill in designing and constructing databases.
•Ability to apply statistical methods and models to analyze complex datasets.
•Competency in summarizing statistical analysis and communicating data into clear, actionable insights.
•Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field is highly preferred.
