 The Opportunity 
 This position will report to the Director of the UF Health Aortic Disease Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine. this position will help patients with genetic conditions in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of their care, providing inpatient consultations as well as outpatient continuing care in our multispecialty clinic in conjunction with the genetic counselors. Our University of Florida campus has incredible resources with 10 colleges and six Health Sciences Colleges on a single campus which allows for cross-and inter-disciplinary collaboration opportunities. 
 This position is an excellent opportunity for a physician scientist passionate about advancing the field of aortic genetics research and treatment while also playing a powerful role in all aspects of this program including the identification of previously unrecognized genetic variants. 
 This role will: 
 
 Provide genetic clinical care to patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting in conjunction with genetic counselors. 
 Evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with genetic conditions. 
 Support a robust, cross-disciplinary research program in both the clinical and basic science arenas.

 Interventional Cardiology Faculty Opportunity: The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston, Texas, seeks an Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing academic cardiology practice (all Academic ranks welcome). The successful candidate will become an integral part of our growing Department and the Sealy Heart and Vascular Institute (SHVI) and will work in a well-managed, high-quality and robust multi-faceted cardiology practice with a large Cath Lab procedural volume. Besides coronary interventional skills, endovascular interventional skills are highly desired - and priority will be given to candidates with endovascular interventional skills and experience in the treatment of PAD. Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is also preferred: CHIP (Complex and High-Risk PCI), interventional heart failure, and/or catheter-based pulmonary embolism interventions. The Department is home to an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program training 3 fellows per year. The position may include a start-up research package and dedicated protected time for scholarly activities, both of which will be adjusted according to the candidate&#8217;s prior research experience, academic achievements, and area of investigative interest. The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine has expanded significantly in recent years and now includes 33 faculty physicians (3 Electrophysiology, 5 Advanced Heart Failure, 8 Interventional, and 17 General Cardiology). The department also serves as the professional home for 32 fellows (26 in General Cardiology, 3 in Advanced Heart Failure, and 3 in Interventional Cardiology).  In this role, you will be providing full-scope midwifery care to individuals with low and moderate-risk obstetrical needs. Inpatient care is provided on the Birthing Pavilion and involves intrapartum and postpartum care. You will also provide gynecological care in the ambulatory setting. Coverage includes 12-hour shifts on the Birthing Pavilion and 8-hour shifts in our hospital based clinic and 2 outreach clinics. 
 Our midwife service includes 13 midwives, and we work within the DHMC OBGYN department that has a large OBGYN generalist service and a maternal-fetal medicine service. In addition, we have a subdivision of urogynecology and GYN oncology. The hospital does about 1700 births each year, and the midwifery service attends about one-third of the births. We provide full in-house 24-hour service for our panel of patients. The midwives are an integral part of this academic medical center, and we provide education for midwifery students, residents, and medical students. We are committed to evidence-based care, and we are working to increase the footprint for midwifery-based research. 
 Since 1983 the Midwives of DHMC have been providing high-quality, safe, full-scope midwifery care with excellent outcomes to the families in our community. During pregnancy and birth, we are committed to using our knowledge of the body&#8217;s normal processes to help achieve an empowered and joyful birth. We utilize evidence-based practices to provide skillful, low-intervention, compassionate care within an academic tertiary care setting. We are committed to teaching the next generation of maternity care providers the ways to optimally support the normal, physiologic process of labor and birth.  Our interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized experts consists of specialty-trained epilepsy neurologists and epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses and nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers and electroencephalogram (EEG) technicians. We use the most advanced treatments available for evaluating epilepsy, preventing seizures and treating comorbidities affecting individuals with epilepsy. The Department of Neurology brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to research initiatives.
