OverviewThe Grant & Project Specialist, Sr. reports to the Director, Grant Management and Administration and supports the external grant process from research of opportunities through writing of the application for the WakeMed system. This position provides research, develops proposals, prepares program development and project description, and provides reporting and documentation of funding. This position will work to standardize the grant proposal/application process and develop procedures applicable to all grant proposals to streamline the process and will be involved in monitoring the compliance requirements for each grant award, as well as working with the grant sponsor within the WakeMed system to develop the proposal and budget.
